Electrical Technician
Location: Orugodawatta/ Moratuwa/ Kandy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs, installations, and routine maintenance of various electrical systems and equipment.
- Handle single-phase and three-phase wiring with diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Utilize electrical tools and testing devices for accurate fault detection and system optimization.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with induction motors, including motor rewinding.
- Perform troubleshooting and routine maintenance of generators and related systems.
- Handle networks and security camera systems, including wiring, testing, and maintenance.
- Interpret and work from single-line diagrams for installations and maintenance tasks.
- Provide leadership to a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of work.
- Work extended hours when required to meet project deadlines and timelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Sound technical knowledge in electrical systems, single-phase, and three-phase wiring.
- Proficiency in using electrical tools and testing devices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for induction motors, motor rewinding, and generator systems.
- Familiarity with network systems, security cameras, and associated wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and technical manuals.
- Flexibility to work long hours and travel to project sites as needed.
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems Maintenance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Valid certifications for electrical safety and handling electrical tools (preferred).
- A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
