Senior Executive - Transport Accounting
Varun Beverages is the second largest PepsiCo franchisee in the world (outside the US) of carbonated soft drinks and noncarbonated beverages sold under trademarks owned by PepsiCo like Pepsi, 7up, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, Sting, Ole Brands & Aquafina, we are in the process of strengthening our team and looking for a best potential candidate to join our team.
Job Profile
- Manage end-to-end transport invoice processing, validation, and vendor payments in line with contracts, rate cards, and company policies.
- Prepare and manage monthly transport cost accruals and provisions, ensuring cut-off compliance and reconciliation with actuals.
- Monitor invoice ageing and ensure timely posting and payments in accordance with internal SLAs.
- Prepare monthly transport cost reports, budget vs. actual analysis, and vendor/route-wise spend insights.
- Maintain and update transport rate masters in SAP or relevant ERP/TMS systems with proper controls and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Maintain accurate reconciliations of vendor ledgers, GR/IR, and accrual accounts.
- Collaborate with Logistics, Procurement, and Finance teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
Personal Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in transport/logistics accounting, AP, or cost control.
- SAP experience preferred (FI/MM; rate master/PO/GR/IR familiarity).
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Power Query preferred).
