Quality Assurances Supervisor
Varun Beverages is the second largest PepsiCo franchisee in the world (outside the US) of carbonated soft drinks and noncarbonated beverages sold under trademarks owned by PepsiCo like Pepsi, 7up, Miranda, Mountain Dew, Sting, Ole Brands & Aquafina, we are in the process of strengthening our team and looking for a best potential candidate to join our team.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Perform tests on in-process/ finished product batch samples as per the SOPs/work instructions.
- Syrup preparation as per the production schedule.
- Chemical preparation.
- Inspect goods /delivery vehicle condition upon arrival at the stores.
- Monitor cleaning, sanitation, CIP of lines/equipment/dispatch vehicles.
- Testing incoming material quality & adherence to raw material & packaging material acceptance & rejection criteria.
- Maintain GMP & ensure good housekeeping practices in the bottling hall/processing areas/packaging areas etc.
- Keep strict control over HACCP CCPs/OPRPs/PRPs
- Analyze shelf life samples & provide feedback to QAM.
Personal Profile
- Possess a diploma in the field of food science, chemistry, bio chemistry or a related stream from recognized institute.
- Shall possess 3-year experience in quality control / quality assurance activities in food & beverage industry.
- Ability to work in shift & extended hours when required.
- Knowledge in computer literacy (Word, exel, power point, in-ternet, e-mail , etc.)
- Age should be below 35 years.
