Reporting to the Managing Director / CEO, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, ensuring robust governance, and positioning the organization for sustainable growth and public market success.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
- Member of CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent internationally recognized professional accounting qualification.
- Bachelors or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3–5 years in a senior managerial or leadership role (Head of Finance / CFO / Deputy CFO level).
- Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is highly preferred.
- Strong exposure to IPO / PLC listing processes, corporate governance, and public company compliance will be a distinct advantage.
- Proven track record in financial strategy development, business partnering, and supporting organizational growth.
- Hands-on experience in banking relationships, cash flow optimization, taxation, auditing, and statutory compliance.
- Sound knowledge of ERP systems and advanced financial tools (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel, etc.)
- Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Age below 50 years is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall financial strategy, planning, and reporting functions to support business growth and the company's upcoming transformative phase from a Private Limited Company to a Public Listed Company (PLC)
- Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and investment planning.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements in Sri Lanka, with strong readiness for listing and ongoing public company obligations.
- Manage banking relationships, treasury functions, and funding arrangements.
- Implement and strengthen internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Drive ERP optimization and advanced financial reporting systems for timely, accurate decision-making.
- Provide strategic financial insights to the Board and CEO to support key business initiatives and expansion plans.
