Manager - Security Automation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation, configuration, integration, and continuous improvement of security automation systems including CCTV, access control, video analytics, intrusion detection systems, and PA systems.
  • Manage and maintain the underlying IT and network infrastructure supporting security systems, including LAN/WAN connectivity, IP-based surveillance systems, and server environments.
  • Diagnose, analyze, and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure uninterrupted system functionality and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to ensure seamless system integration, cybersecurity compliance, troubleshooting, and implementation of upgrades with minimal disruption.
  • Lead and manage security automation projects, including system design, installation, testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation (system architecture, network diagrams, SOPs, and incident reports) while ensuring service providers meet SLAs, KPIs, and organizational standards.
  • Plan and conduct security drills, emergency response simulations, and failover testing, while staying updated on emerging security and surveillance technologies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in security operations with a strong focus on IT-enabled security systems and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with IP-based CCTV systems, access control solutions, VMS (Video Management Systems), and integrated security platforms.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, data protection practices, and system hardening techniques related to surveillance and access control systems.
  • Proven experience in vendor management and handling outsourced security providers.
  • Ability to develop SOPs, technical documentation, and security procedures aligned with best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively during system failures or emergencies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across IT, operations, and security teams.
