BUYER / SENIOR BUYER – FASHION RETAIL
Industry: Fashion Retail (Clothing & Non-Clothing)
Thilakma is looking for experienced and dynamic Buyers / Senior Buyers to join our growing retail team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in fashion retail, with a proven track record in both clothing and non-clothing categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective buying strategies aligned with business goals
- Source, select, and purchase a wide range of fashion and non-fashion products
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability
- Work closely with merchandising and sales teams to maximize profitability
- Plan seasonal collections and product assortments
- Ensure product quality and timely delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Buyer or Senior Buyer in fashion retail
- Strong knowledge of clothing and non-clothing product categories
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret market trends and consumer behavior
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Degree or professional qualification in Business, Fashion, or a related field (preferred)
