Officer - Business Development (Battery Division)

Location: Colombo / Kurunegala

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell motorcycle batteries and tyres to existing and potential customers
  • Execute sales promotions, branding, and marketing activities
  • Achieve assigned sales and recovery targets while ensuring zero overdue collections
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers
  • Monitor dealer performance and provide guidance and support
  • Identify and appoint new dealers based on market opportunities
  • Coordinate stock availability and logistics with relevant teams
  • Handle customer and dealer inquiries, complaints, and technical issues
  • Conduct market research on customer behavior, competitor activities, and industry trends

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, business development, or dealer management
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region
