Deputy Manager
Business Development (Battery Division)
Location: Colombo / Gampaha
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and drive automotive battery sales through dealer and direct sales channels
- Achieve sales targets while ensuring timely debt collection and recovery
- Execute branding, promotional, and marketing activities within the assigned territory
- Develop and maintain strong dealer relationships while monitoring dealer performance
- Identify and expand new dealer networks and market opportunities
- Coordinate stock availability and logistics with relevant internal teams
- Handle customer and dealer inquiries, complaints, and technical issues effectively
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior
- Ensure compliance with sales processes, reporting standards, and operational procedures
- Support management with business development initiatives and operational improvements
Requirements & Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Proven experience in sales planning and target achievement
- Knowledge of branding, marketing, and territory management
- Good coordination, organizing, and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Product and market knowledge in the automotive/battery industry will be an added advantage
