WE'RE LOOKING FOR
LECTURER-CYBER SECURITY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Cyber Security related subjects.
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture materials, assignments, and examination papers.
- Conduct student assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Supervise student projects, research activities, and laboratory sessions.
- Support curriculum development and continuous academic improvements.
- Maintain accurate academic records and ensure compliance with institutional policies.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic activities, and administrative tasks.
- Stay updated with current industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Cyber Security.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or a related field.
- Master’s qualification in Cyber Security or a related specialization.
- Minimum 2-3 years of industry and/or teaching experience.
- Strong knowledge of Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, Network Security, Cloud Security, and Digital Forensics.
- Familiarity with Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, Fortinet, or Palo Alto technologies would be an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as CEH, Security+, CISSP, or CISM would be preferred.
- Good communication, presentation, and student management skills.
- Prior higher education teaching experience would be an added advantage.
