HEAD OF DEPARTMENT – INTERNATIONAL MARKET

Location: Colombo
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8.00 AM – 5.00 PM
Saturday: Half Day

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute export sales strategies to expand the company’s international market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas clients, distributors, and business partners.
- Conduct market research and identify emerging market trends and business opportunities.
- Plan and execute advertising and promotional campaigns for products in international markets.
- Represent the company at international exhibitions and trade fairs.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade laws.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with international buyers.
- Coordinate closely with logistics, finance, and production teams to ensure smooth export operations.
- Monitor export documentation, shipping schedules, and delivery timelines.
- Contribute practical expertise in export strategies and international business development.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in international business, Marketing Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in export sales or international trade, particularly in USA and European markets.
- Strong knowledge of export documentation and customs regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel overseas and represent the company at international exhibitions and client meetings.
- Male candidates preferred.
- Age above 35 years.
