SALES EXECUTIVE

LOCATION : COLOMBO

Join the team at Rajarata Hotel, a leading hospitality destination renowned for exceptional guest experiences, elegant accommodation, memorable events, and premium service standards. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and customer-focused Sales Executive to drive business growth and strengthen our presence within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase hotel revenue and market presence
  • Promote hotel rooms, banquet facilities, conferences, events, dining, and other hotel services to potential clients and corporate partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, event organizers, and other business partners
  • Conduct sales visits, client meetings, and presentations to generate new business and maintain existing accounts
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, quotations, and proposals while ensuring excellent customer service standards
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of guest requirements, events, and group bookings
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market updates for management review

Candidate Profile :

  • Candidates below 35 years of age are preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Hospitality Management, or related field will be an added advantage
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English; additional languages will be an added advantage
  • Pleasant personality with strong customer relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets in a competitive environment
