STORES IN CHARGE
A J Fishing Industries (Pvt) Ltd was established in 1987 under registered B.O.I., we supply high quality Fishing gear, Fiber Glass Boats & equipment for the demanding Norwegian market. We are the leaders in several markets around the world.
Role and responsibilities.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of finish goods, raw materials and packing materials in the ware house and maintain stock levels & collaborate with procurement and logistics team.
- Ensure adequate records keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
- Responsible for loading & unloading activates without any damage while verifying the goods.
- Responsible for monthly/Annual Stock taking.
- Supervise and lead a team of store staff to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
- Adhere and enforce all company policies, strategies and procedures in relation to warehouse & logistic operation.
Qualification & Skills
- Professional qualification and a Diploma or certificate in Supply Chain/Logistics Management from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2-5 Years' Experience in similar Function (Preferred in to Manufacturing Industry).
- Good in analytical skills and Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Excellent interpersonal & Communication Skills.
- A good team player with flexibility, adaptability to work in dynamic Environment and willing to work extended hours.
- Should be below 40yrs.
- Ability to use inventory management software and Microsoft office suite (SAP ERP knowledge is highly desirable).
- Preference will be given to candidate from close proximity to Katunayake.
