ERP Pre-Sales Consultant

As an ERP Pre-Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding client business challenges and delivering compelling value-based presentations that influence decision-makers. You will work closely with the sales team to support deal conversions by conducting structured discovery sessions, designing tailored ERP demonstrations, and presenting solutions that address real business needs. The ideal candidate should possess strong business process knowledge (in areas such as manufacturing and finance), excellent presentation skills, and the ability to translate complex ERP capabilities into clear, practical solutions for non-technical audiences.
Qualifications and Experience We’re After
- Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related technical field or Equivalent Professional Qualification such as CIMA/CA.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Finance operations is mandatory
- 3–4 years of experience in ERP pre-sales, training, implementation, or support functions
- Hands-on experience working with Entution ERP or similar ERP systems
- Strong understanding of ERP modules including Finance, Inventory, and Supply Chain, along with related business processes across multiple industries
- Experience conducting end-to-end ERP product demonstrations and engaging with prospective clients throughout the pre-sales lifecycle
- Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability and confidence to effectively present solutions and proposals to senior management and Board-level stakeholders
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and user-friendly manner to non-technical audiences
- Basic understanding of ERP architecture, system integrations, APIs, and Cloud vs. On-Premise deployment models would be an added advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented thinking skills
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings
Your Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to drive deal conversions and improve win rates by delivering customized, scenario-based product demonstrations aligned with client use cases and operational needs.
- Conduct structured discovery sessions with clients to understand operational workflows, pain points, and business challenges.
- Map ERP functionalities to real business workflows and operational scenarios to demonstrate practical value.
- Design and present industry-focused ERP solutions tailored to sectors such as Manufacturing, Retail, Finance, Distribution, and Agriculture/Livestock.
- Develop business cases including ROI models, cost-benefit analysis, and value propositions to support client decision-making.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and technical documentation aligned with product capabilities and delivery feasibility.
- Engage with clients post-demonstration as required to clarify queries, strengthen solution confidence, and support deal progression.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to ensure solution accuracy and alignment with implementation capabilities.
- Support internal teams by developing reusable solution assets such as demo scripts, industry use cases, and presentations.
- Provide insights and feedback from client engagements to support product improvements and market alignment.
