Vacancy for Assistant Manager Finance and Taxation – LAUGFS Business Solutions (Pvt) Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Turnaround Time (TAT) and service delivery in line with client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of transaction processing and financial documentation.
- Monitor and review team members’ work to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
- Responsible for delivering monthly and annual financial statements and ensuring adherence to Group reporting guidelines.
- Responsible for submitting Corporate Income Tax, VAT, SSCL, and Stamp Duty returns within stipulated deadlines.
- Participate in staff development, training, and process improvement activities.
- Provide technical support as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the finance team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in financial reporting and internal control systems.
Candidate Profile
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Full or partial qualification in a recognized finance or accounting professional program (CA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance; experience in a similar capacity will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP ERP (FI/CO/MM modules) will be an added advantage.
- Experience in taxation, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, SSCL, and Stamp Duty returns within stipulated deadlines.
- Experience in handling external audits with auditors.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
