XGenLabs is an Australian software studio that designs and builds custom digital products for businesses — web applications, APIs, SaaS platforms, mobile apps, and cloud integrations. We work with clients across industries including healthcare, operations, payments, and e-commerce, delivering production-ready software from discovery through deployment. Our team is small, hands-on, and focused on shipping quality work and avoiding bureaucracy. We’re hiring a .NET Developer to join us full-time and help deliver client projects end-to-end.

THE ROLE
As a .NET Developer at XGenLabs, you’ll build and maintain ASP.NET Core applications for clients — greenfield builds, platform upgrades, UI reskins, API integrations, and ongoing improvements to live systems. You’ll work across the full stack: back-end services, web UI, databases, testing, and Azure deployments. You’ll collaborate with our team, client stakeholders, and sometimes client engineering teams on active delivery. Recent project types include multi-tenant web portals, payment platforms, CRM systems, and design-system UI implementations from Figma specs.
Work type: Full time (Location: Remote) — flexible hours. Experience: 3–6+ years.
WHAT YOU’LL DO AT XGENLABS
- Build and maintain ASP.NET Core web applications and Web APIs for client projects
- Develop UI using Razor Pages / MVC, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implement designs from Figma specs — responsive, mobile-first, accessible
- Work with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server
- Integrate third-party systems and REST APIs
- Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews
- Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure
- Work in Azure DevOps (or GitHub) — branches, PRs, CI/CD pipelines
- Join client showcases, staging reviews, and production releases
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in staging and live environments
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
MUST HAVE
- 3+ years commercial experience with C# and .NET (Core 3.x+)
- Strong ASP.NET Core — Web API, Razor Pages, or MVC
- Entity Framework Core and SQL Server
- Solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with Git and collaborative PR workflows
- Understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and clean architecture
- Clear communication and comfortable working with clients and remote teams
NICE TO HAVE
- Microsoft Azure — App Service, Functions, Blob Storage, Key Vault
- Multi-tenant or white-label applications
- Payment flows, scheduling systems, or regulated industries
- WCAG 2.1 / accessibility awareness
- Experience in a consultancy or agency environment
- Bootstrap, CSS design tokens, or design-system implementation
