Executive - Quality Assurance
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support and oversee day-to-day Quality Assurance activities within our tile manufacturing operation.
Reporting directly to the QA Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring product quality, conducting inspections and testing, maintaining quality records, investigating quality issues, and ensuring compliance with established quality standards and procedures.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with production teams to drive continuous quality improvement and ensure consistent product excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain quality control standards and procedures, conduct regular inspections and audits and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
- Analyse production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvements.
- Monitor and control key quality parameters to ensure product consistency.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, improve quality, reduce costs, and minimize waste.
- Ensure the final product complies with SLS and ISO Standards to enhance the overall performance of the production process.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of production equipment to optimize production efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Science, Materials Science or equivalent qualification in a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in ceramic-based industries would be an added advantage
- Proven experience in quality management, including knowledge of automation systems and quality control methodologies
- Knowledge of best manufacturing principles and ISO quality standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional analytical ability towards solving quality & production-related concerns
- Willingness to work on a shift basis and additional hours to fulfill deadlines when require
