Executive – Logistics
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate export shipment planning and container loading operations.
- Ensure timely container transfers to meet cargo ready dates and shipping schedules.
- Maintain shipping instruction databases including notify party details, courier information, preferred ports, and documentation formats.
- Monitor palletizing, container loading, and pallet labeling accuracy to ensure zero customer complaints.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, and shipping teams for smooth export operations.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in product codes, BOMs, and shipment documentation.
- Supervise and monitor loading staff to ensure proper loading practices and safety compliance.
- Maximize container space utilization while maintaining loading quality standards.
- Handle courier coordination and export-related operational communication.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in logistics, export operations, warehouse operations, or shipping coordination.
- Experience in container loading, dispatch planning, or freight forwarding will be a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of export documentation and shipping processes.
- Ability to supervise shop floor/loading operations effectively.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under shipment deadlines and operational pressure.
- Computer literacy including MS Office and operational reporting.
- Experience in tea exports, FMCG exports, or manufacturing exports will be an added advantage.
