TAX ASSISTANT / TAX SENIOR
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Tax or related field / Following CA, CMA, or AAT
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in taxation
- Strong understanding of Sri Lanka tax regulations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and file tax returns including VAT, SSCL, PAYE/APIT, WHT, Income Tax, and other statutory taxes in compliance with IRD regulations
- Ensure timely submission of tax returns and tax payments to the Inland Revenue Department (IRD)
- Maintain accurate tax documentation, records, and supporting schedules for compliance purposes
- Assist in tax audits, assessments, and investigations by preparing required documents and reconciliations
