Location: No.15, Lotus Road, Colombo 01, Sri Lanka
Industry: Construction / Engineering
We are looking for a capable and energetic Project Chinese Translator to support communication and coordination between Chinese and local staff on the MFC Project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate verbal and written translation between Chinese and English/Sinhala.
- Assist in site coordination and daily communication between Chinese and local staff.
- Translate project documents, reports and technical materials.
- Support Chinese management and local staff with coordination activities.
- Accompany Chinese supervisors on-site and assist in translating instructions and communication for local workers.
- Facilitate smooth communication between site engineers, supervisors, and labor teams.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all translations.
Requirements:
- Good command of Chinese, English, and Sinhala.
- Previous experience in construction projects will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
