LEGAL MANAGER
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and provide legal advice on agreements, deeds, and other legal instruments related to the company's business operations.
- Maintain a contract management system, track the status of all existing contracts, flag upcoming expirations, and coordinate with relevant departments for timely renewals.
- Prepare case briefs and summaries of depositions, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Communicate and negotiate with external stakeholders such as regulators, external counsel, and public authorities.
- Prepare and file various legal documents such as appeals, motions, and petitions.
- Ensure timely follow-up with internal and external stakeholders to meet legal deadlines and compliance requirements.
- Represent the organization on legal matters and provide sound legal advice in the best interest of the company.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Attorney-at-Law and Notary Public, licensed to practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructing attorney work, including conveyancing, company secretarial duties, and corporate legal practices.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of corporate law and legal procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
