Color Matcher - (Spectrometer Operator)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform color matching for PVC flooring products according to customer specifications.
- Operate and maintain spectrometers and related color measurement equipment.
- Develop and adjust color formulations for new and existing products.
- Monitor color consistency throughout the production process.
- Conduct color quality inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to resolve color-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Industrial Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience in color matching within PVC, plastics, paints, inks, or related industries.
- Hands-on experience with spectrometers, colorimeters, and color management software.
- Strong understanding of color theory and pigment formulation.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in PVC flooring manufacturing.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and color standards.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems.
