Asst. Accountant

We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented professionals to join our Accounting Department at our Colombo office. Responsibilities :
- Bookkeeping & financial record maintenance.
- Prepare the annual budget and manage actuals accordingly.
- Manage vendor payments, collections and provide cash flow projection to the board.
- Ensure necessary process controls are in place
- Communicate and coordinate with overseas clients and stakeholders
Requirements :
- +2 years experience in similar capacity of a service organization.
- Experience with shipping industry is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding in accounting entries and general ledger postings
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Hands on experience with Ms office packages ( Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.)
Qualification :
- Part qualification from CA Sri Lanka (Cert. Business Accountant or higher), ACCA OR
- Full qualification of AAT
