nnMAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
nLocation: Sri Lanka
nnYOUR TASKS
n- n
- Performs repairs and maintenance duties on a variety of industrial production machines, such as Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling, electrical discharge machine, wire cut, surface grinding, injection molding compressor and stamping machines n
- Carries out predictive and preventive maintenance, cleaning, and equipment servicing as per instructions n
- Handles work order management system to receive, accept, and complete the tasks requested n
- Carries out installation of new machinery and equipment n
- Carries out settings of wiring controls as per the required standards and change components where necessary n
- Collaborates with maintenance colleagues, other departments and external service providers to effectively deliver solutions to maintenance problems n
- Attends to emergency calls on equipment repair issues, during and after work hours as required n
- Supports any other maintenance duties assigned by the reporting head n
- Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by using personal protective equipment, by paying attention while working, keeping work area clean and organized, and using proper work techniques, exercising good judgment and using all necessary safety guards n
YOUR PROFILE
n- n
- Certificate or Diploma in electrical, maintenance or related technical training at an engineering technical institute n
- More than 2 years’ experience in repair and maintenance in the field of production machines n
- In-depth knowledge of basic electrical practice, theory, and safety n
- Basic knowledge in fundamentals of hydraulic systems in theory and practice n
- General computer literacy n
- Ability to communicate in Sinhala and English n
