COMMERCIAL EXECUTIVE
JB Apparel – Lanka Garment Manufacturing Company Pvt Limited, the apparel subsidiary of Jafferjee Brothers Group of Companies, has been in operations for the last four decades, housing two manufacturing facilities with a direct workforce of over 1200 and is working on expansion.
The Commercial Executive processes and clears all import and export fabric, trims, accessories, and finished goods and ensures that timely documentation is carried out effectively to meet the production and export schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with Merchandisers/Planning team and finishing team for onetime booking.
- Arrange all pre shipments and post shipment documents.
- Handling the operational process with BOI, Customs, CFS and SLPA.
- Coordinating with customers for required approvals.
- Maintaining daily records.
Requirements:
- G.C.E. A/Ls with a minimum 3 years’ of experience in similar capacity.
- Age between 25-40 years.
- Computer literacy with the ability to prepare computerized import and export CUSDEC, knowledge of BOI & Customs procedures relating to import and export documentation.
- Strong relationship to maintain good rapport with forwarders, Government authorities and other related stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Import and Export documents would be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
