We are hiring Visiting Lecturer – Electromechanical Systems

Currently, we are seeking for a dynamic and experienced Visiting Lecturer to join our Deakin Pathway Programme Academic Panel.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Industrial Automation or related field) with minimum of 5 years of industry/teaching experience;
- A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Industrial Automation or related field) with minimum 1 year of industry/teaching experience.
- Prior lecturing or teaching experience in higher education is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in automation software tools related to robotics including Kuka software.
- Excellent command of English – both written and spoken.
Job Description
- Demonstrate unwavering commitment to teaching and consistently strive for excellence in instructional methods.
- Minimise lecture cancellations and rescheduling, ensuring regular and dependable course delivery.
- Engage in mentoring and provide academic support to students as needed, ensuring their academic success and development.
- Adhere to all institutional policies and guidelines set by the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA).
