EXECUTIVE
GROUP FINANCE & ACCOUNTING
David Pieris Holdings (Private) Limited is the holding company of the David Pieris Group, one of the largest and most financially stable conglomerates in Sri Lanka. The Group has diversified interests in automotive products and services, financial services & insurance, logistics & warehouse operations, racing & leisure, information & communication technologies, real estate and investment property, shipping & marine services and renewable energy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle end-to-end financial reporting and finance operations of assigned Group entities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Coordinate with subsidiary finance teams for timely submission of monthly financials.
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate statutory audit activities.
- Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure timely reconciliations.
- Assist in implementing internal controls and process improvements.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and MIS reporting requirements.
- Provide support to SBU finance teams on technical and operational matters.
- Ensure accurate recording and proper authorization of financial transactions.
- Perform General Ledger (GL) maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field from a recognized university.
- CMA, CA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification (fully or partly qualified).
- 3-4 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or audit.
- Strong financial reporting skills.
- Exposure to ERP systems and digital finance tools will be an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
