JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Assistant will support daily warehouse operations, including receiving and dispatching goods, inventory management, warehouse organization, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate should be reliable, physically fit, and committed to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in warehouse activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse
- Verify and process returned and exchanged goods received from logistics companies
- Manage product storage locations and ensure proper arrangement of inventory
- Conduct inventory checks and stock counts to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and inventory data
- Implement and maintain 5S standards to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
- Regularly inspect and maintain warehouse equipment and ensure safe working practices
- Support loading and unloading activities when required
- Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor and Headquarters (HQ)
REQUIREMENTS
- G.C.E. (O/L) qualification (A/L qualification will be an added advantage)
- Previous warehouse experience will be an advantage
- Basic computer literacy and inventory management knowledge preferred
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and capable of handling warehouse-related activities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
