ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

The Role
As our Assistant Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing complex tax requirements, and contributing to the seamless preparation of financial statements.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Professional Qualification: Completion of AAT or part-qualification in CA / ACCA is mandatory.
- Academic Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance or a related field will be considered a significant advantage.
- Audit Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Auditing.
- Commercial Insight: At least 4 years of experience in a mercantile/corporate environment.
- Taxation Mastery: Proven hands-on experience in handling VAT, CIT, SSCL, and other statutory requirements.
- Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Standards and a proven track record in preparing Financial Statements (FS).
- Attributes: A high level of integrity, the ability to meet deadlines, and a willingness to take on diverse tasks assigned by management.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks (QB) or Busy Accounting Software is preferred but not mandatory.
