FIELD COACHING EXECUTIVE

Ceylon Cold Stores PLC (CCS), manufacturer of Elephant House Soft Drinks and Ice Creams is a leading consumer food company in Sri Lanka. CCS is a subsidiary of John Keells Holdings PLC.

The company is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the position of Field Coaching Executive. The position is responsible for enhancing the performance and capability of Company Sales Representatives (CSRs), Distribution Sales Representatives (DSRs) and Merchandising Leaders (MLs) through structured field coaching, training programs, and continuous performance monitoring. This role ensures effective implementation of sales strategies, standard operating procedures, and organizational values in the field.

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Conduct regular planned field coaching with CSRs, DSRs, and MLs; observe performance and provide structured feedback; identify competency gaps; in order to improve field capability and strengthen sales execution.
  • Design and deliver training programs on sales skills, product knowledge, systems and processes; prepare training materials; facilitate inductions and refreshers; in order to ensure capability development aligned to business needs.
  • Create and update learning content; track learner progress; maintain training records; provide user guidance; in order to ensure smooth digital learning operations.
  • Maintain coaching and training data; prepare weekly and monthly reports; analyze performance outcomes; track competency progress; in order to measure effectiveness of development interventions.
  • Identify individual/team competency gaps and propose action plans; support supervisors with targeted development; in order to continuously upgrade salesforce capability.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Degree in Sales/Coaching or equivalent or higher diploma with 1-2 years hands on experience in T & D / coaching.
  • Broad understanding of the FMCG industry operations and modern T & D, coaching implementation methods.
  • Knowledge on modern T & D methodologies.
  • Knowledge on relevant training competencies.
  • Knowledge on modern coaching methods.
  • Skills on Business Acumen; Building High Performance Teams; Analytical; Innovative; Communication; Adaptability; Negotiation; Decision Taking and Problem Solving; Organization, Attention to detail; and Customer Focus.

Remuneration for the above position will be in accordance with the JKH Compensation and Benefits Policy.
