JUNIOR EXECUTIVE (GOLD STOCK VERIFICATION) – RISK
Location – Head office
The selected candidate will be responsible for,
- Continuously assess and update the management team on the potential operational risks for the company and implement relevant mitigation strategies in collaboration with all the departments.
- Conducting routine audits of gold loans to verify the accuracy of physical gold stock balances against system reports.
- Performing verification of gold loan operations and ensuring proper implementation of procedures.
- Reviewed on operational risk aspects of branches to ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and guidelines and recommending improvements to enhance quality.
- Following up on corrective actions and risk mitigation.
- Designing and implementing the procedures and a risk-oriented culture within the organization.
- Play an active role in strategy setting and corporate planning in liaising with the top management, board of directors, shareholders, customers and other stakeholders.
- Visit branches and report internal control violations and deviations from standard procedure.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- At least 1-2 years’ experience in the Banking/Financial Services Sector in a similar capacity in Risk Management.
- Should possess an analytical mind with absolute attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- A degree in Banking, Finance, Management, Mathematics, Statistics or a full or partial professional qualification in Banking and Finance (IABF/DABF), CIMA or FRM.
