IT OPERATIONS LEAD (MANAGERIAL LEVEL)
We are searching for an experienced and proactive IT Operations Lead to take full responsibility for the organisation's IT function and lead our IT team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the Company's IT function, ensuring reliable and effective IT operations across all business units.
- Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to the IT team.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, systems, networks, cybersecurity, and business applications.
- Oversee and continuously improve core business systems, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, email, telephony, CRM platforms, workflow tools, reporting systems, and other operational applications.
- Design, coordinate, and deliver user training programs on new system implementations, IT best practices, cybersecurity awareness, data protection requirements, and technology-related policies to ensure effective adoption and compliance across the organisation.
- Collaborate with management and department teams to understand business needs and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
- Lead and coordinate IT projects, including new system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Work closely with external IT consultants, vendors, and service providers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology and automation.
- Proactively research, evaluate, and introduce new systems, technologies, and best practices that enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure business continuity, data security, disaster recovery, and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Manage IT budgets, software licensing, vendor relationships, and technology investments.
- Monitor system performance and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Promote a collaborative, service-oriented, and high-performing IT culture.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A Master's Degree along with professional IT certifications will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Information Technology with minimum 3 years' experience in a leadership or management capacity.
- Proven experience managing IT operations, infrastructure, systems, and technology projects.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, networking, business applications, and modern IT environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading system implementations, digital transformation initiatives, and process improvement projects.
- Ability to work effectively with senior management, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Experience supporting multi-company or international business environments will be an advantage.
JOB DETAILS
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 02:00 PM to 11:00 PM (SL Time)
- Saturday availability on request.
WORK MODE
- Fully Remote
- High-speed (Fibre) internet connection is required.
