QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT (MALE)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented male Quality Control Assistant to join Joint Agri Products Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd. The ideal candidate should support quality control activities, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and assist in maintaining operational excellence within the production environment.
Key Role & Responsibilities
- A Diploma or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Quality Control Assurance, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of Food Safety Standards (e.g., FSSC, BRC, ISO 22000).
- Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety regulations.
- 1–2 years of working experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a controlled production environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Required skills and experience
- Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures
- Support compliance with GMP, and food safety requirements
- Conduct routine inspections and documentation checks
- Maintain accurate quality control records and reports related to ongoing production
- Assist in internal audits and corrective action tracking
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure hygiene and process compliance.
- 1–2 years of experience in a food manufacturing, sterilisation, or production environment is preferred.
