Accountant - On-site in Qatar
BS Group International is hiring a dedicated Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team on-site in Qatar. As an Accountant, you will manage the finance team with daily accounting and administrative tasks, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations: Manage in day-to-day accounting, maintain general ledgers, accurate financial records, and regular data entries, audit and compliance requirements.
- Transactions & Tax: Process accounts payable/receivable, perform bank reconciliations, manage petty cash, and support VAT/GST or tax return preparation.
- Reporting & Analysis: Manage month-end closing (journal entries/accuals) and support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Administration: Prepare invoices, track expenses, follow up on customer payments, and provide general administrative support to the finance team.
Job Requirements
- Qualifications: Partly qualified CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts department.
- Software Skills: Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Odoo or similar systems. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Core Competencies: Strong report writing and communication skills, high attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Nice to have: Experience with advanced Odoo modules, QuickBooks, Xero, or a strong administrative background.
