Senior Executive Digital Banking Reconciliations
We are seeking a highly analytical and risk-conscious Senior Executive to take operational ownership of the reconciliation pillar of the digital banking ecosystem and ensure the financial accuracy of the digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute and oversee the end-to-end daily and monthly reconciliation for JustPay, LankaQR and Digital Banking platforms
- Investigate, track, and resolve complex transaction mismatches and settlement variances
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of transactions to identify operational gaps, system vulnerabilities, and unusual patterns indicative of fraud or internal control failures
- Proactively recommend and help implement internal controls and automated workflows to minimize manual errors and tighten security
- Liaise with IT and external vendors to resolve technical glitches causing settlement delays or mismatches
- Maintain aging analysis reports for outstanding items and promptly escalate high-risk variances or suspected fraud to the Management
Experience & Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or an equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in financial operations and reconciliation within a Bank, FinTech, or financial institution
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel with a proven ability to analyze large volumes of data
- High integrity, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
