Join our team at Nawaloka Hospitals PLC, Colombo
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily stewarding operations
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen, pantry, and washing areas
- Monitor dishwashing, waste disposal, and hygiene practices
- Maintain stewarding equipment, utensils, and cleaning supplies
- Lead, train, and schedule stewarding staff
- Coordinate with kitchen and support teams for smooth operations
- Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Hospitality / Hotel Operations preferred
- 3–5 years of stewarding experience
- Prior supervisory experience is an advantage
- Good knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
- Experience in a hospital or hotel environment is an added advantage
