ACCOUNTANT
Leema Creations (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s financial operations with accuracy and efficiency.
REQUIREMENT:
- Degree in accounting, fully/ partly qualified in CA/ CIMA or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 03 years of proven experience in similar role
- Strong experience in preparing financial statements and management reports independently
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, budgeting and financial analysis
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards
- Prepare management accounts, variance reports and financial analysis to support business decisions
- Manage monthly tax computations, tax returns, ensuring full compliance with Sri Lankan tax regulations
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors and Inland Revenue Department
- Ensure proper stock recording, issuing and receiving processes and proper inventory management
- Maintain and regularly update the Fixed Asset Register and manage insurance coverage for company properties
