Electro Serv Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, is a company specializing in engineering product systems & solutions. The company mainly services an industry customer segment with leading Global Vendor Associations. Due to the expansion in the business, we have a vacancy for the following position and we seek a dynamic, versatile and self-motivated individual to join our technical team.
Draughtsman - Electrical Panel Division
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise electrical drawings, schematics, layouts, and construction details using CAD software.
- Develop:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Panel layouts
- Cable tray routing drawings
- Shop drawings and as-built drawings
- Coordinate with electrical engineers and project teams to understand design requirements and site conditions.
- Ensure drawings comply with local electrical standards, regulations, and project specifications.
- Maintain drawing registers and document control procedures.
- Incorporate site changes and markups into revised drawings.
- Support quantity take-offs and material estimation when required.
- Conduct drawing checks for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Liaise with site supervisors and subcontractors regarding drawing clarifications.
- Archive and maintain all project-related design documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in electrical drafting within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- WSCAD
- MS Office applications
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems.
- Familiarity with local authority submission requirements.
- Ability to perform basic electrical calculations and material take-offs.
