Head of Treasury / Treasury Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s liquidity, optimizing funding costs, and diversifying our borrowing portfolio.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate traditional banking relationships while aggressively pursuing innovative and international funding avenues.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accountancy.
- Professional qualifications or qualifications in treasury, investment and Risk Management
- Experience: A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in a Treasury function within a bank or a reputed Finance Company
- Specialized Expertise: Proven track record in arranging foreign funding lines and managing complex financial negotiations
- Network: An established network within the local banking sector and international development financial institutions (DFIs) is a distinct advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for banks and financial institutions to ensure seamless credit facilities and operational banking support.
- Funding Diversification: Lead the identification and arrangement of alternative funding sources (e.g., debt instruments, securitizations) beyond traditional bank borrowings
- Foreign Funding: Leverage expertise to identify, negotiate, and secure foreign funding lines and manage international lender relationships
- Liquidity & Risk Management: Monitor cash flow requirements and oversee market and liquidity risk in alignment with the ALCO framework
- Strategic Reporting: Provide the Board and Senior Management with insights on market trends, interest rate movements, and cost-of-funds optimization
