Locum OPD Doctor
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum OPD Doctor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide quality outpatient care, ensure patient satisfaction, and uphold the highest standards of medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality outpatient medical consultations and treatments for patients visiting the OPD.
- Diagnose illnesses, prescribe medications, and recommend appropriate investigations and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records, prescriptions, and clinical documentation.
- Offer health education and preventive care advice to patients and their families.
- Coordinate with nurses, pharmacists, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
- Handle medical emergencies within the OPD setting and make referrals to specialists or hospitals when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with medical ethics, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- Full registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).
- Previous experience in OPD or general medical practice will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and patient management skills.
Salary
- Attractive locum payment / Negotiable based on experience and working hours.
