The Faculty of Computing of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology is the home of more than 190 academic staff and an ever-growing cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The faculty offers a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs and encourages a rich research culture. In addition to bachelor’s and course-work based master’s programs, the Faculty of Computing offers MPhil and PhD degree programs as well.
Lecturer (Research Track)
- Applicants must hold a 1st or 2nd class honours four-year bachelor’s degree in Interactive Multimedia or a 1st or 2nd class honours three-year bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree at SLQF Level 9 equivalent or above in the required specialization and at least two years of experience in teaching at the undergraduate level or satisfactory industrial experience and evidence of research output.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and facilitate practical sessions in education degree programmes
- Assist in the supervision of undergraduate research projects
- Design and update course modules towards the development of the research and innovation culture of the department
