SENIOR EXTERNAL AUDITOR- SINGAPORE
Responsibilities:
- Plan and carry out external audit assignments for Singapore-based clients, from start to completion.
- Prepare and review audit working papers, schedules, and supporting documentation to a high standard.
- Perform tests of controls and substantive procedures in line with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Identify audit issues, accounting errors, and control weaknesses, and discuss them with the audit manager.
- Prepare draft financial statements in line with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Meet audit deadlines and keep the manager updated on the progress of each assignment.
Requirements:
- Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of external audit experience, preferably in an big four audit firm.
- Professional Qualification: Part-Qualified CA or ACCA.
- Education: A University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Standards Knowledge: Good understanding of ISA and IFRS/SFRS reporting standards.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills, as you will work closely with our Singapore team.
- Software: Experience with audit software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate, organized, and able to spot errors in financial data.
Note: Selected candidates may be offered initial training in Singapore. We also support hybrid working, with a flexible mix of office and work-from-home.
