We are seeking an experienced and insightful professional to join our team as:
Cost Control Executive / Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze expenses related to food and beverage, housekeeping, maintenance, and other operational departments.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to minimize waste and theft.
- Conduct regular physical inventories and reconcile with system records.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate with suppliers for favorable terms and pricing.
- Monitor monthly expenses and ensure they align with the budgetary guidelines.
- Investigate and address any discrepancies in expenditures.
- Present financial information to senior management and provide recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost control.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and organized financial information.
- Address any audit findings and implement corrective actions.
Qualification & Experience:
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar capacity.
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Ability to prepare Daily/weekly/monthly cost reports.
- Experience with Accounting Systems and POS Systems.
- Responsible for maintaining the Menu Pricing, Consumption and POS systems.
- Prior experience in preparing recipe costing.
- Able to effectively control the Cost in all departments.
- Good communication skills - Speaking & Writing
