MANAGER – FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS

Key Responsibilities Include:
n
n- Own the preparation and delivery of comprehensive financial reports P&L statements, balance sheets, variance analysis, and KPIs to senior management on a monthly and quarterly basis.
n- Prepare monthly P&L on both accrual and actuals basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
n- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts; proactively identify areas of concern and propose corrective actions.
n- Lead end-to-end budgeting, planning, and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with the company's financial and strategic objectives.
n- Run variance analysis (Budget vs. Actuals vs. Forecast) and communicate key drivers clearly to stakeholders.
n- Track and provide C&B-related cost details, levers, and trends to the HR team on a regular basis.
n- Build and maintain financial models to help HR assess cost impacts of C&B decisions and proposed changes.
n- Maintain and continually enhance financial reporting tools and templates to improve efficiency and accuracy.
n- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
n- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
n- Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging technology and best practices.
n- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial data, ensuring completeness and accuracy of reports.
n- Mentor and guide junior FP&A team members, building capability in financial statement preparation and analysis.

Qualifications/Criteria:
n
n- Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent; CA preferred.
n- 5 - 6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or management accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
n- Strong command of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
n- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / NetSuite) and advanced Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
n- Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles and financial statements.
n- Experience with C&B cost modelling and HR finance partnership is desirable.
n- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
n- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
n- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy under time pressure.
n- Collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
n- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
