Senior Co-Worker - Minuwangoda/ Katana
SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead the Family Strengthening project in Minuwangoda/ Katana.
The Senior Co-worker ESP oversees programme implementation, case management, monitoring and evaluation, community engagement, staff supervision, and safeguarding practices to strengthen vulnerable families and ensure child protection.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Family Strengthening Programme (ESP).
- Oversee case management and ensure quality service delivery.
- Conduct needs assessments and monitor project progress and impact.
- Manage staff, finances and administration at the project location.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
- Coordinate with community partners and relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Project Management, or equivalent.
- 4-6 years of experience in programme management or administration.
- Strong child safeguarding awareness and commitment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and fluency in Sinhala or Tamil.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and community engagement skills.
- High computer literacy.
- Passionate about working with children and vulnerable families.
