Senior Co-Worker - Minuwangoda/ Katana

SOS Children’s Villages Sri Lanka is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead the Family Strengthening project in Minuwangoda/ Katana.

The Senior Co-worker ESP oversees programme implementation, case management, monitoring and evaluation, community engagement, staff supervision, and safeguarding practices to strengthen vulnerable families and ensure child protection.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Family Strengthening Programme (ESP).
  • Oversee case management and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Conduct needs assessments and monitor project progress and impact.
  • Manage staff, finances and administration at the project location.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
  • Coordinate with community partners and relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of experience in programme management or administration.
  • Strong child safeguarding awareness and commitment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and fluency in Sinhala or Tamil.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and community engagement skills.
  • High computer literacy.
  • Passionate about working with children and vulnerable families.
