We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our operations in Colombo Port City and encourage qualified and skilled candidates to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

n- Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the duty-free shop to tourists and local customers.
n- Brand Management: Develop and maintain the shop’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
n- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning within the travel retail sector.
n- Promotional Campaigns: Design and execute promotional campaigns and events to drive foot traffic and increase sales, particularly during peak travel seasons.
n- Digital Marketing: Manage online presence through social media, email marketing, and the shop’s website to engage potential customers and enhance brand visibility.
n- Partnership Development: Establish partnerships with local businesses, travel agencies, and tourism boards to promote the shop and enhance cross-promotional opportunities.
n- Customer Engagement: Develop programs to foster customer loyalty and encourage repeat visits, including VIP programs or exclusive offers.
n- Sales Analysis: Monitor sales data and marketing performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for future initiatives.
n- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor the marketing team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and effective execution of marketing plans.
n- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize return on investment.

Ideal Candidate:
n
n- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
n- Experience in marketing, preferably in the FMCG, travel retail or duty-free industry.
n- Analytical, strong communication, digital marketing proficiency, and project management.
n- Results-oriented, adaptable, customer-focused, and leadership-driven
n- Knowledge of international markets and duty-free regulations; multilingual skills a plus
