Job Title: Workshop Controller - Colombo
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organized Workshop Controller to oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate job allocation, monitor repair progress, and ensure timely completion of work. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, planning, and leadership skills to maintain high productivity, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level IV or Above / Diploma In Automobile Engineering.
- Computer Literacy.
- Valid Driving License.
- Brand Model or Dealer Certifications will be added to Advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum two years of work experience in a similar capacity within the automotive service industry.
- Ability to prepare accurate repair estimates and cost assessments.
- Proven capability in mechanical and auto-electrical fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Strong ability to plan, schedule, and manage workshop loading efficiently to maximize productivity.
- Ability to conduct vehicle test drives before and after repairs to ensure repair quality and customer satisfaction.
- Overseas work experience in the automotive industry will be considered an added advantage.
