SENIOR EXECUTIVE - SUPPLY CHAIN
Samson Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd, a progressive member of the DSI Samson Group, is one of the Group's key trading arms focused on driving business diversification and growth. We are planning to expand into Modern retail and General trade markets in Sri Lanka with a growing portfolio of leading brands. We are looking for a dynamic and analytical professional who can drive inventory optimization and enhance business performance through accurate and data-driven demand forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain monthly SKU-level demand forecasts using statistical models and historical sales data.
- Actively participate in monthly S&OP meetings.
- Analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and market movements to identify demand fluctuations and supply risks.
- Monitor Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, and inventory performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review safety stock levels and recommend adjustments to ensure product availability while maintaining working capital efficiency.
- Coordinate with marketing and product development teams on New Product Introductions (NPI) and product phase-outs.
- Maintain accurate demand planning master data within the ERP system.
Personal Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Business Analytics or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory control, or supply chain data analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Ability to work independently while managing deadlines effectively.
