Executive - Quality Cum Nutritionist, Buttala

What is the role?
The Executive - Quality Cum Nutritionist will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of feed quality, safety, and nutritional value. This role combines quality assurance management with animal nutrition expertise, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while optimizing feed formulations for dairy and beef cattle productivity.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Ensure quality control of raw materials, in-process production, and finished cattle feed products.
- Oversee laboratory testing to maintain required nutritional and safety standards.
- Develop, review, and optimize feed formulations based on cattle nutritional requirements.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory, food safety, and quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues with corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct nutritional analysis and adjust formulations to improve feed efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with production teams and provide training on quality and feed handling standards.
What knowledge and skills are expected in an ideal candidate?
- Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Food Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in animal feed manufacturing or the agriculture industry.
- Strong knowledge of cattle nutrition and feed formulation.
- Hands-on experience in laboratory testing and quality control.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and food safety standards.
