ABOUT THE ROLE
GORGEOUS TRIMS HONG KONG (PVT) LTD is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Merchandiser to join our team.
This opportunity is ideal for school leavers, freshers, and individuals seeking a rewarding career in merchandising and garment accessories. During the training period, you will work along with professional merchandisers and gain hands-on experience in customer coordination, supplier communication, order management, sample development, and product handling.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate regularly with suppliers and buyers/customers
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships
- Track customer orders from inquiry to delivery
- Coordinate sample development, approvals, and revisions
- Handle product inquiries and customer requirements
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding materials and production timelines
- Work closely with senior merchandisers and internal departments
- Monitor production schedules and delivery deadlines
- Ensure products are delivered to customers on time
- Support day-to-day merchandising operations
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic computer literacy
- Good typing skills
- Polite and professional communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and coordination skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- School leavers and freshers are encouraged to apply
- Previous merchandising experience will be an added advantage
