ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE - TAXATION
Watercare Technologies (Pvt) Ltd is an organization established in 2006 and, engaged in chemical engineering activities, including water & waste water treatments, manufacturing & trading of chemicals & equipment, providing laboratory and consultancy services. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling monthly and annual tax compliance (VAT, SSCL, WHT, Income Tax, etc.).
- Preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time via the RAMIS system.
- Actively coordinating, liaising, and maintaining a professional relationship with Inland Revenue Department (IRD) officials for tax assessments, clearances, and audits.
- Handling tax-related queries and resolving issues directly with the IRD.
- Assisting with general accounting functions, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- AAT fully qualified or partly qualified in CA/ACCA/CIMA/CMA. Candidates with a relevant Degree or Diploma are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role (Direct experience dealing with IRD officers is highly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of current Sri Lankan tax laws and RAMIS operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with external authorities.
- Well-focused with a great sense of accountability and ability to meet deadlines.
- Be highly motivated and well organized.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing within a 10Km radius of the Homagama area.
